TEAM LEADER INBOUND LOGISTICS

Our end client (one of the most important firms specializing in the field of sanitary and ceramic materials) needs to urgently incorporate directly into its manpower staff: TEAM LEADER INBOUND LOGISTICS

-Participation in the SAP Template project definition of a Spanish multinational company. After the pilot implementation in Spain, a roll out plan will be defined including all European subsidiaries.
-To lead and manage the ongoing operations within the Inbound Logistics team
-Responsible for delivering of a high quality support performance in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements and within the agreed budget.
-Responsible for leading, motivating and managing the team, ensuring a multi-skilled, cross-trained, proactive customer focused team.
-Continually strives to improve the processes and motivates staff to do the same. Responsible for following control procedures and maintaining operational procedures.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
-Provide support to the manager Business Applications in defining the IT strategy for Inbound Logistics
-Support standardization of processes across Europe
-Support the manager in the Business Applications – Inbound Logistics budget creation and follow-up
-Manage staff assignments to projects in collaboration with other team leads
-Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives
-Ensure issues and concerns are discussed and resolved quickly and effectively
-Co-ordinate detailed activities in implementing applications and infrastructures ensuring the integration with other processes / teams
-Co-ordinate detailed activities in maintenance and enhancements of applications
-Review and report on Key Performance Indicators results for the area
-Recruit and train new staff

Requisitos:
-University degree in Business Administration or Information Technologies
-Experience (minimum 6 years) in Inbound Logistics (Procurement, Logistics, Plant Maintenance) related functional areas
-Experience in medium to large size international IT projects including at least 2 years of supervising related activities
-Experience in working in a service driven, customer oriented environment
-Experience on a management level being responsible for at least 5 employees.
-Experience in medium to large size international SAP projects
-Experience in working in a service driven, customer oriented environment
-Excellent: English, Spanish
-Understanding of Procurement, Logistics and Manufacturing processes
-Solid understanding of IT Solutions / Tools in the Inbound Logistics area:
•SAP Modules MM, PP, PM, QM
•3rd party tools
-Ability to develop, evaluate, and execute implementation plans by defining scope, objectives and deliverables
-Traveling to serve clients in European countries is considered part of the job.
-Knowledge of any additional main language is considered an asset: French, German or Italian
