General Description
The Territory Sales Executive (TSE) generates profitable SW (and Services revenue). The TSE creates & manages a 18-24- month Territory Plan w/ quarterly roll-in. The TSE defines the appropriate Road to Market (RTM) per market sub-segment (Target and Territory). The TSE is in charge of proactive face-to-face coverage of Target accounts with appropriate forecasting; proactively supports partner coverage in Territory Account. The TSE identifies required Partner capacity and capabilities. The TSE is a point of escalation for complex partner-driven cycles.

Responsibilities
•Creating and managing a 18-24- month Territory Plan with quarterly roll-in
•Proactive face-to-face coverage of Target Accounts with appropriate forecasting
•Proactive pipeline management across all channels
•Territory planning defining appropriate Road to Market (RTM) per market sub-segment (Target and Territory)
•Identification of required Partner capacity and capabilities
•Point of escalation for complex partner-driven cycles
•Achieving sales quota through generation of profitable SW revenue

Critical Interaction Points: Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, Telesales Representative, Tele-Marketing Representative, Channel Manager, Field Services, Support

Skills Competencies / Success Factor
Must Have in addition to general sales competency:
•Minimum 2 years selling experience in the mid market
•Channel sales experience and partner-centric behavior and focus
•Proficiency in value-oriented selling focused on prescribed
(or pre-determined) solution offerings
•Target Industry/Vertical market and process knowledge
•Solution and SW component understanding
•Customer contract negotiation and deal structuring experience
