Use
You may need to process goods movements in other ways than the standard goods issue/goods receipt process; it may be necessary to use internal stock transfers between your plants. To generate a stock transfer using Material Requirements Planning (MRP), you need to enter the goods issue by means of a delivery (sale) in Sales and Distribution (SD) and the goods receipt in Materials Management (MM).
The system comes complete with two movement types needed for posting a stock transfer order:
· Movement type 862 for goods issue
· Movement type 861 for good receipt
