Operation account assignment in FI, MM, CO, and SD
Description
The function of operation account assignment allows you to use the operation of a plant maintenance or service order as an account assignment object. As a consequence of this you can allocate estimated, planned and actual costs on operation level.
The test case here deals with the new features you will have for orders with operation account assignment when you use those orders/operations as account assignment objects in postings in FI, CO, MM, and SD.
Preparation
The following must be installed and set up:
• Enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0
• Activated business function LOG_EAM_OLC (transaction SFW5)
The order type for which you want to process orders with operation account assignment has to be marked for that in customizing. The path in the customizing is Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -> Maintenance and Service Processing -> Maintenance and Service Orders -> Functions and Settings for Order Types -> Costs on Operation level -> Define Cost Settings.
